Use of estimates

Results are based on the information entered and the assumptions shown with each calculation. Check your actual payslip, tax code and HMRC account before making a financial decision.

Unsupported circumstances

The main calculator is not designed for self-employment, dividends, benefits in kind, multiple employments, directors, cumulative PAYE corrections, overseas income or every possible tax-code instruction.

Accuracy

We aim to use verified official rules and expose material assumptions. A software result can still be affected by input errors, rule changes, unusual payroll treatment or defects. Unsupported codes are rejected instead of silently replaced.

Commercial content

Any future paid or affiliate placement must be clearly labelled. Commission must not determine a factual tax calculation or be disguised as an independent ranking.
