Calculator data

Salary, tax code, loan and pension inputs are calculated in your browser. The calculator has no account database and does not send those entries to a Pay Unpacked calculation API.

Technical data

Hosting infrastructure may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, browser details, requested page and time. Do not enter names, National Insurance numbers or other identifying information into calculator fields.

Analytics and advertising

Google Analytics loads only after analytics consent. It measures visits, referral source, general device and browser information, approximate location and selected calculator interactions. Custom events use broad salary bands; exact salary and tax-code values are not deliberately sent to Google Analytics. Advertising storage and personalisation remain disabled because no advertising network is active.

Storage and your choices

The calculator does not keep a salary history. Your browser stores your cookie-consent choice. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change it or withdraw analytics consent. Read the cookie information for how that choice works.

Pay Unpacked handles site feedback and privacy enquiries at contact@payunpacked.co.uk. If you email, your email address and the information you choose to send are used to respond to your enquiry. Please use example calculation inputs and do not send payslips, National Insurance numbers or bank details.
